An Urgent Appeal from the Brownies

12 months ago, I made an urgent appeal for new leaders for Christ Church Walmsley Guides and we now have three permanent leaders and a stable unit. Thank you to Hannah, Sarah and Helen for coming forward and volunteering.

In our district of Bromley Cross and Egerton, we have four Brownie units and a huge number of girls waiting to join them. Two of our units only have two leaders and no extra help and one unit will only have two leaders at the end of this academic year.

We need new leaders and extra help urgently.

Please consider giving an hour or two per week of your valuable time to help our Brownie units. If you can’t commit to becoming a fully qualified leader, any time given as a unit helper would be gratefully received.

Do you and your friends fancy trying something new? Were you a Rainbow, Brownie, Guide, Beaver, Cub, Scout yourself and remember all the fun you had?

If you can answer yes to these questions, PLEASE consider helping our units and allow more girls in our area to enjoy the many activities available.
