A Celebration of FIRST COMMUNION with Archdeacon Rachel and Bishop Matthew

JOYFUL SERVICE of FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
It was wonderful to welcome the Venerable Dr. Rachel Mann, Archdeacon of Bolton, to our 9.30am Service at Christ Church Walmsley and the Bishop of Bolton, the Right Reverend Dr. Matthew Porter to our 11am Service at St. Andrew’s Church, BX, when seven children aged 7-9 were admitted to communion on Sunday 27th October, following their preparation a few weeks earlier.
Thank you to Archdeacon Rachel and to Bishop Matthew for leading our services so brilliantly, and congratulations to all those who celebrated their FIRST COMMUNION, taking their next step on their Christian journey.
Thank you also to Ordinand Angie Foster, who led the preparation for the youngsters’ First Communion.
