Whether you’re looking to connect with God for the first time, looking for a new church home or you’re in town visiting family and friends: you are our guest.
We hope you’ll experience the presence of God on Sunday and see what He is doing at Walmsley Parish. We do understand you might have a few questions before you come, so here is some helpful information:
When do you meet?
Sunday services are held at 8:00 am, 9:30 am and 6:30 pm at Christ Church and 11:00 am at St Andrew’s.
Sunday mornings, plan to arrive a few minutes early so you can park, say hello, and find a seat. After the service, join us for a cup of tea and a biscuit (or two). There is also a Tuesday morning service at Christ Church.
What should I expect?
Expect to spend time in praise and worship, prayer, teaching and community. Our services last 45-60 minutes.
Reading through Our Beliefs will also help you understand who we are and what you can expect when you visit.
What should I wear?
At Walmsley Parish, all fashion styles are welcome.
The focus is on Christ, so there’s no need to dress up unless you want to, and most of our attendees dress casually.
Are children welcome?
Absolutely! We have family services at Christ Church (first Sunday of the month) and St Andrew’s (third Sunday of the month).
We’ve also created a very lighthearted guide for parents bringing children to church.
Plus, we have Junior Church and Turton Youth Church activities throughout the year.
