Church & Youth Group for our younger members + School Admissions
ADMISSION TO CHURCH SCHOOLS:
Services where attendance will be counted for school admissions are the 9.30am Sunday services at Christ Church Walmsley and the 11am services at St. Andrews. Attendance at Junior Church and Sunday School is also recorded and counted.
Please remember that on the first Sunday of the month, there is a 9.30am FAMILY SERVICE at Christ Church Walmsley, where the youngsters are invited to come out and accompany the music worship group ‘River of Life’ on percussion instruments.
PLEASE NOTE: WE HAVE GONE DIGITAL at Christ Church Walmsley and you can scan the QR code (at the back of church and in each pew) to register yourselves and your children’s attendance. This logs the time, date and location, so eliminates the need to highlight names at the beginning of each service. Please be reminded that this is to aid you in maintaining your evidence of church attendance, it is primarily a parental responsibility to ensure attendance is recorded. Thank you.

Junior Church
Junior Church at Christ Church Walmsley meets on Sundays during school term time, apart from the first Sunday of the month. Sessions start at 9:30 am and finish at approximately 11:00 am.
SCRAMBLERS
Age 3-5 yrs meet downstairs in the HIDEAWAY. (Parents are welcome to stay with their child in this group.)
CLIMBERS
Age 5-8 yrs meet at the side room in the PARISH HALL;
EXPLORERS
Age 8-11 yrs meet upstairs in the HIDEAWAY

Sunday School
Sunday School at St. Andrew’s, Bromley Cross, meets every Sunday in the adjoining room to the main church hall whilst the main service at 11am takes place. The children then join the main service for ‘show & tell at the end’.

Turton Youth Church
Calling all Year 6 and above: TYC happens once a month on a Sunday at 7pm at St Andrew’s Church, Bromley Cross. #funfoodfriendshipandfaith
TYC – or Turton Youth Church – is a youth group set up by the six churches of the Turton Moorland Team for young people from Year 6 – Year 13 (almost 11 yrs to 18 yrs) to share FUN, FOOD, FRIENDSHIP & FAITH !! Please get in touch if your child would like to come along.
