Parish Update for 9 January 2022
News from Christ Church Walmsley and St Andrew’s, Bromley Cross
9 January, the first Sunday after Epiphany: the Baptism of Jesus
As always, our heart-felt message to you is one of FAITH, HOPE, PEACE, JOY and LOVE. We look forward to celebrating services in Walmsley Parish on 9 January, the first Sunday after Epiphany: the Baptism of Jesus.
Join us in Christ Church Walmsley at 9:30am and in St. Andrew’s Church, Bromley Cross at 11am for services of Holy Communion. Both will be led by our Parish Minister, Reverend Carol Hayden.
Evensong
And join us again at (the slightly earlier time of) 6pm, for a traditional service of EVENSONG at Christ Church Walmsley: A quiet, reflective service led by John Evans (Reader Emeritus) and Adrian Golland. These services have been online all through the 20 months since the first Lockdown, so welcome back to our Sunday evening worshippers. Thank you to Adrian Golland for your technical expertise in producing these online acts of worship … and thank you to all those who have volunteered to give a reading.
PLEASE NOTE: MASKS ARE REQUIRED TO BE WORN IN CHURCH (unless exempt); thank you for helping to keep our most vulnerable parishioners safe.
Worship at home…
If you feel unable to join us yet, the wealth of wonderful resources produced from across the Turton Moorland Team via newsletter, via the Team websites and, for those without internet, hand-delivered will continue.
Stay well – stay safe.
You can enjoy the wonderful weekly TURTON MOORLAND TEAM ONLINE SERVICE from 8am each Sunday morning. Previous services are also available to watch on this link.
