Virtual Evensong Fourth Sunday after Easter
On Easter Sunday evening, four weeks ago, Adrian Golland who, with John Evans (Authorised Lay Minister for Worship), leads the Sunday Evensong at Christ Church Walmsley, prepared for us a comforting taste of normality by creating a virtual service of Evening Prayer.
We were pleased that it had 50 views!
Adrian has created another service for you to enjoy this Sunday evening. Dawn Hitchen reads verses from the Old Testament and John Evans from the New Testament: the Revelation of John the Divine.
The readings are followed by a short reflection about God being the Alpha and the Omega – the beginning and the end – God of the past, the present and the future; He is with us through all things.
Adrian leads the wonderful prayers and gives thanks for the everlasting life which will come in God’s Kingdom.
