Saying ‘farewell’ to our amazing Team Curate, Rev Hannah Lane, was a bitter-sweet affair: sad to see her leave us but ultra proud as she prepares to take up her new post as the Vicar of Bolton
Friends from across the Turton Moorland Team gathered to wish Rev Hannah well at a wonderful afternoon tea party held at Walmsley Parish Community Hall, when she was presented with gifts … and gave an emotional reflection of her time here, especially as it was drawing to a close.
Thank you to Hannah for all you have given to the Team as a whole, and to Walmsley Parish in particular. We will miss you so much with your many skills and talents … not least your sense of humour.
Huge thanks also to the team of ladies from across the four parishes who came together to create an awesome array of sandwiches, quiches, cakes + jam and cream scones. The food was delicious!!
