How wonderful it was last Sunday morning (23 February) to welcome our new Turton Moorland Team Rector, Rev Ian Hepburn, who led our worship in Walmsley Parish for his first Sunday in post.
Rev Ian gave an excellent sermon, and was assisted in the service by Ordinand Angie Foster and Sacristan Derek Bailey.
Although he was ‘dashing’ to the 11am Holy Communion at St. Andrew’s Church, Rev Ian took time to chat with members of our church family after the 9:30am service at Christ Church Walmsley.
We feel so very blessed to have Ian and his family here with us…
