EASTER SUNDAY at ST. ANDREW’S CHURCH

Our Team Rector, Rev’d Ian Hepburn, led the Communion Service at St. Andrew’s Church on Easter morning, whilst the Sunday School children enjoyed an Easter egg hunt outside, collecting 67 eggs that they divided equally into bunny bags with a chocolate lolly. They then listened to the Easter story and each made an Easter crown, which the children coloured with a donkey and palms, bread and wine for the last supper, 3 crosses on a hill, the tomb and Jesus ascending. They then decorated the band with Easter stickers and also made a wooden cross necklace. At the end of the service, during the Sunday School ‘share time’, Rev Ian Hepburn was presented with an Easter Crown. The beautiful Easter flowers were arranged by the wonderful Grace Cheeseman 😊
